| Reasons to Submit |
SIMPLY GREAT FILMS. From student filmmakers to industry professionals, from amateurs to veterans, from New Jersey to Korea, RBIFF programs films from diverse sources, based solely on the merits of the work. No matter what your background or experience, if your film is great, RBIFF wants to show it. Many of the films selected for past RBIFF's have gone on to success at other Festivals; others have won or have been nominated for top awards, such as Academy Awards or Independent Spirit Awards.
MODEST FEES. We do our best to keep the submission fee as low as possible. We know that you've broken the bank to get your film made. We don't turn a profit on submissions - the fees are vital to advertising our call for entries.
INTEGRITY. RBIFF guarantees that all complete entries will receive equal consideration. Our committee of judges is well qualified and professional. Our review process is rigorous, thorough, and completely objective - our standard of integrity is difficult to match, your submission won't be overlooked.
AWARDS. RBIFF has cash awards for all major categories. Local awards, including the coveted JERSEY FRESH award, come with prizes which include at least a thousand dollars worth of filmmaker services. This year, cash prizes for other categories will be awarded as well.

RED BANK. The Jersey town that local filmmaker Kevin Smith made famous is RBIFF's home. With dozens of bars, restaurants, record stores, studios, galleries, boutiques and other shops all within walking distance, riverside Red Bank has become one of New Jersey's most desired destinations and an arts mecca, with day trippers from all over, including nearby New York City.
PARTIES, PARTIES, PARTIES. Some film festivals are filled with stuffy panels. Some have good films, but end after screenings. Others cater to the general public and ignore the filmmakers. But RBIFF is a festival with a festival atmosphere. We roll out the red carpet to our filmmakers, with free parties every night, great hospitality, free food, free beer, dj's, bands, awesome guests, and the best company. It's no surprise to us that RBIFF has become a favorite festival among filmmakers.
REPUTATION. All of the above qualities have contributed to making RBIFF an acclaimed event. Now celebrating its Fifth Anniversary, RBIFF has formed a strong presence in the international film circuit and is known for being hip, ahead of the curve, and one of the great new festivals to look out for.
