In a Nutshell chronicles the unique life of Elizabeth Yegsa Tashjian: concert violinist, classical painter, Christian Science healer, media celebrity and curator of the one and only Nut Museum. Today, at ninety-two years old, Tashjian finds herself in a new role: Ward of the State. After a series of tragic events surrounding her health and finances, the contents of the Nut Museum have been permanently removed and her beloved Victorian mansion is on the market.
